His older brother escaped from their abusive father, but he left Wylan behind. So when Wylan spies a swan become a girl cloaked in silver feathers, he doesn't hesitate. Hey so uh, this is literally a multi-fandom oneshots book but I also might just write story prompts on here. This is for NaNoWriMo but I'll probably still write on here after it's over. (I wanted a calm month for this year)

A world that's full of wizards, controlling all aspects of weather.

Ozone depletion and pollution have resulted in alternate living situations. 17-year-old Lark Merope lives in a cluster of community skyrise buildings as she trains to become a veterinarian. Her ability to sense emotions in animals is slowly awakening, affecting her ability to perform her tasks. When she's forced to leave behind her best friend Siro and the life she knows in the skyrise community, she embarks on a journey in which she must work with an unlikely ally. Befriending an aloof hunter named Ryan from the outside world, with a life so different from her own, he becomes her only companion when she has no one else. When his dangerous family connections come to light, she is torn between depending on him to stay alive in the wilderness and being targeted a rebel or deserting him to save them both. As a deadly disease begins to spread, it creeps closer to her family and friends inside the skyrise community. Lark must use her empath abilities to find the antidote quickly- and find out who she truly is, in the process.

It wasn't camaraderie, and he figured it out explosively in the middle of a firefight. Flames raged on every side, civilians screamed at a distance, and she ran for a crying toddler flanked by the enemy. Fire lit in his chest and dying embers around their feet. She saw his wide eyes, agape mouth, and asked what he thought. Written for my Creative Writing Club that tries to write 50,000 words for NaNoWriMo collectively

A fantasy/sci-fi/romance set in space! The story starts with one of the main characters, Isla, twin brother dying and although people are telling her it's an accident she doesn't believe them. Once the main characters' turn 23 years old they go through three trails and if they pass they can go on their own Space Pod so Isla and her friends all go initially to find out what happened to her twin brother. It is an adventure that Isla and the other characters would never have dreamed of. The adventure of the lifetime.

Darkness. Only darkness. That was all the land of Ild'nn had known. The land was created into darkness and would forever remain in darkness. Light was just a rumor, a fairytale, a myth. Colors were as fake as humans. The void was reality, and everything else was purely fiction. At least that is what every citizen of Ild'nn had been taught from the moment they were born. It was all a lie. There was light and colors. There were other lands. There was more to the world than just the shadows. But no one would ever know that, it was the biggest kept secret of all time. In a world of deception and blindness, three individuals must assemble to prove the truth they know. They must find the light and save the land from its perpetual obscurity. This would not be a simple task though, as the entire world was trying to stop them. After all. it is much easier to not accept the truth and if you were not prepared for it the light could be blinding.

I laid my head down on my paws, tired and not getting any sleep. Again. I have had the same dream every time I close my eyes. There's screaming, fighting, arguing, and dying in it. I've never had this happen in my life, well, not in this lifetime, maybe in a past life. I'm not sure how it works - the past life regression, I mean. I'm a jaguar shifter but not a very good one. I didn't have anyone to teach me the things I needed to know. My parents died when I was a small child, gone before I was one-years-old. Oh, don't worry, I did have a grandfather - if you can call him that. He was the one who taught me everything not to do.
