"My name is Hannah Lilah Thomas and I'm 16. But everyone calls me Ann. Nobody calls me Hanna and the last person who did regretted it." Living in the city of Diaireménos is terrible. There's not enough food, and way too many rival clans trying to steal from you or kill you. Oh yeah, did I forget to mention that the city is almost completely abandoned? The city used to be a thriving place until one day everyone disappeared. That is, except a small group of people whose descendants broke off into clans. Now hundreds of years latter everyone is running out of food and the vicious Omega Clan seeks to kill off all the clans so they can have the city's dwindling resources to themselves. Enter Ann. A young but promising Delta Clan agent who lost her parents at a young age. When word breaks out that there is a traitor in the Delta Clan to the Omega Clan, Ann gathers her friends to solve the case. Despite the fact that many of her friends are also on her suspect list... As time grows more and more important these questions become more and more pressing. Who is the traitor? Why can Ann never catch a lucky break? What happened to the city? What is Danny's "secret project"? And if the traitor is one of Ann's friends? Will she have the courage to do what needs to be done? And why is Ann afraid the answer to that last one might be "Yes"? The answer to these questions will change the lives of Ann and the rest of the Delta Clan forever. The question is...Will it change them for the better? Hi! My name is Axolotl Kid and I am a new author who is ready to showcase their stories to the world. And I am just going to say this up front... I hope you absolutely hate my story. In a good way! I hope that by the time you finish my story you want to rip it into a million pieces and set it on fire (Yes, I know this is a virtual book but bear with me for the metaphors okay?). In a good way though because the book just fractured your whole perspective of reality. Happy reading!
