A different take on 'The Rising of the Shield Hero' story. Naofumi still gets summoned to Melromarc along with Motoyasu, Ren and Itsuki and he's still the shield hero. However, there will be a different twist in Naofumi's fate and Motoyasu, Ren and Itsuki try to help him while dealing with their inner feelings for him.

Naofumi Iwatani was summoned to the world the Kingdom of Melromarc resides, but not the same carefree and kind Naofumi. No, it was a 13-year-old version of him where his parents forced him to focus on his studies, much like his younger brother in the original series. Naofumi is currently on root to Shieldfreeden and is worried about them being intercepted and Melty killed. so he has an idea and it unlocks an interesting shield. Takes place after episode 12 where Naofumi saved Melty. Werewolf Naofumi or Demihuman Naofumi.
