Persephone is back for another year at Hogwarts; however, there have been whispers of the Dark Lord's return after the Dark Mark is shot into the sky after the Quidditch World Cup. With the Triwizard Tournament at Hogwarts, Persephone is faced with a terrifying image from her past in the form of Igor Karkaroff. There is a growing terror among the Death Eaters, and Persephone is sure that someone close to Hogwarts is watching her every move. How will she navigate the year with the knowledge that her father could be on the rise once again? How will Dumbledore approach Persephone when he learns of the prophesy foretold about her family? And will Persephone and Severus finally admit their ever-growing attraction to each other or are the doomed to remain as professor and student forever?

Harry feels like he has been forgotten about at the Dursleys. His friends don't believe him about the rise of Voldemort, they believe he couldn't share the glory and killed Cedric out of jealousy. The only person Harry knows never lied to him was the only person he was supposed to hate. Dumbledore knew what the Dursleys did to him only he did nothing he would go on and on about blood wards no move was made to protect him. The Dursleys did something that made Harry snap. Blood wards be damned, Harry wanted to kill the muggles but he would do as a message to Dumbledore and the order of the Flaming Chicken.

The first book in the six-part series. Follow Persephone Black as she makes her way through Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. With some twists and turns, and an infatuation with a certain professor, Persephone might have to disregard her guardian's wishes to remain "out of the spotlight". *After some confusion, I wanted to officially clear up the timeline of this fanfiction, and the ages of some of the characters. This story takes place alongside the original Harry Potter timeline where Harry begins at Hogwarts during the 1991 school year. Draco and Harry are in their second year at Hogwarts and are 12, going on 13 by the end of this story. Persephone is beginning her first year at Hogwarts, but is also 12, going on 13 due to Dumbledore holding her back a year. Separately, the Marauder's timeline is slightly different as I wanted to make Snape and Lucius closer in age, and Lucius and Narcissa farther in age. For this story, Snape, Lily, James, Sirius, and Narcissa are in the same year, being born in 1958. Lucius is three years older than Narcissa and Snape being born in 1955. Finally, Bellatrix is two years older than Lucius, being born in 1953. The only changes this makes is that Bellatrix and Lucius are a tad younger, and the marauders + Snape are a tad older. I hope this all makes sense! *I do not own any Harry Potter characters or anything that JK Rowling has created*
