"Desiring a comfortable life is not a sin. The real sin is choosing to stay down while the world steps on you." In the unforgiving streets of Manila, there is no room for the weak. If you can't ride the ruthless waves of survival and corruption, the city will swallow you whole. For Audrey Sanchez, love is a luxury she simply cannot afford. As her family's sole breadwinner, she has learned to weaponize her wit and beauty to manipulate wealthy, lonely men across Makati and BGC. She isn't greedy-she is simply doing whatever it takes to keep the lights on and food on the table. Every date is a transaction. Every smile has a price. Until her path crosses with Christopher Mariano. On paper, he is the picture of corporate success-impeccably dressed, stable, and thriving. But behind the facade of luxury lies the deep, aching wound of being an illegitimate child, a hidden family shame he desperately covers up with wealth and status. To fund the extravagant lifestyle that proves his worth, he orchestrates a dangerous, illegal side hustle: manipulating employee discounts on authentic luxury goods to resell them at full price. Two liars. Two masters of the game. They see right through each other's masks instantly. What they expected to be a petty game of spite and retaliation quickly blurs. In a counterfeit city built on shadows and deception, what happens when the presence of your enemy becomes the only thing that feels real? When your rival becomes your only sanctuary, will you risk everything to play for keeps? Or will you both be consumed by the very system you tried to cheat?

Sasuke. Poor little Sasuke... He just had to be separated from his brother in that fucking foster home. He just had to be given away. He just had to. Shut off from anything normal, Sasuke was subjected to his controlling mother. If it weren't for his supposedly "innocent" best friend Sakura, he'd be a lot more clueless than he already was. Until him, with his kind blue eyes and kinder words, promising Sasuke the world if he'd let it happen. Takes place in 11th Grade Start Date: September 8, 2021

An encounter between an artist and a rich kid might lead to something a little more than just artist-client relationship. A, more or less, well documented love story. Storytelling in 765 words (or less) per chapter. P.S. May or may not be fast-paced. And Areum's language may be too vulgar for some. Disclaimer: This has nothing to do with the font.

Poems written when I was being mentally abused by my narcissistic ex-boyfriend, and my "best friend" at the time chose to believe him over me every single time - accompanied by songs I find fit. These poems helped me get through a tough time in my life and I hope they help you too. My healing process is very evident by the end as you will see, and I hope this helps heal anyone that's going through narcissistic abuse, feeling lost and alone, experiencing depression and anxiety, or anything else I touch on. Cheers! "Oh honey, well you know what, that's okay. I'm learning to accept that, For you it was never me. I was always just your 'most convenient prey.'" Authors Note: This healed the f*ck out of me. 10/10 would recommend.

Everything felt empty, lonely and cold, I always felt it and I always wanted to fill it but for some reason I couldn't find it until finally I met someone named Mr. Lee, I didn't know who he was, he was smiling at the edge of the alley where I was and at that time it was very dark, quiet and there was only light that couldn't illuminate everything. However, the light managed to make me see what I was doing. until I met him, the figure I consider to be my father, my family and I would do anything for him. for the family I have

Not everything is as it seems. That's something everyone knew yet never really considered or put much thought into it's meaning. It was something Anna hadn't taken into account until she found herself trapped in the clutches of a a monster - not one being, but rather a cluster of humans seemingly without souls. Of course they weren't supernatural or anything dramatically out of the ordinary, but who could tell what was what any longer as the games began to spin out of control? She was drowning in the poison these toxic creatures had created. Anna's only hope was to expose the Opaque, but day-by-day, hour-by-hour, she was learning of what an impossibility that would be as in time, all HOPE began to disintegrate. There was, however, one dash of hope. It just meant going against everything Anna believed in...

I've always been interested in writing, because the time put into it is almost a commitment. A very close experience put from actions into words has my fingertips in a frenzy. How do people think, why do people think the way they do. A bad past, even if your mom has given you everything. You're manipulative but disguised with bright colors. A bad friendship has never left me so confused and intrigued, I'm an investigator. Sherlock would be proud, with a John by my side no stone will be left unturned. After all the human brain is just a puzzle, and this girl is made of 500,000 pieces.

We all experience moments of perfectionism. However, so-called "normal perfectionists" derive a very real sense of pleasure from the labours of a painstaking effort, while neurotic narcissistic perfectionists are unable to feel satisfaction because in their own eyes they never seem to do things well enough to warrant feelings of satisfaction. The relationship between narcissistic behavior and perfectionism is perplexing. In order to begin to understand how complex it is, it is useful to understand the difference between healthy and unhealthy narcissism. There is a world of difference between healthy narcissism and unhealthy narcissism when it comes to going in "search of our own excellence". ASSC Direct is specialized in narcissistic Personality Disorder who is an expert in the area of narcissistic behaviour and narcissistic abuse. He specializes in teaching and training therapists in the understanding of Narcissistic Abuse Syndrome, a new syndrome that is on the increase in our culture.
