Narcissus is a boy born with a beauty so rare it becomes both a blessing and a curse. As he grows up, he longs for real love and friendship, but finds himself objectified and desired by those who care more for his face than his soul. Caught between the protective love of his mother, the dangers of those who pursue him, and the loneliness festering in his heart, Narcissus devotes himself to the goddess Artemis, seeking purity and peace. But when a cruel betrayal shatters his fragile trust, Narcissus is left vulnerable - and what he mistakes for love in the glimmer of a pond will change his fate forever.

So often we hear of what befell Narcissus, of how he was condemned to forever gaze upon his own reflection, doomed to wither away. Never do we hear of how he abused those around him, unrelenting and unaware. While Echo may not speak of it, Ameinias refuses to remain silent any longer.
