When both sons of Britain's biggest political figures meet, it's not under the most gracious of circumstances. However, unexpectedly, life events change the course of their relationship and somehow, they stay afloat in all of it together. (Yes, it's /That/ Heartstopper and Red, White and Royal Blue crossover no one asked for.)

In this AU Nick and Charlie didn't date in school, but they did end up being really close friends years later after moving to the same neighborhood. And eventually, they spent Valentine's Day together, which unfolded something really special between them.

Charlie's day is going absolutely fucking miserable. Good thing there's a sneaky surprise waiting on the Sixth Form student when he goes to lunch. As long as they don't get caught that is.

So I have read the whole comic online, but I felt like I wouldn't get the proper experience until I read the books. So I bought the first one, and saw something at the end. There is a mixtape on it which says "to Nick, from Charlie :)" I got inspired and made a playlist out of the songs. That then inspired me to write this fic. Each chapter is based on one of the songs on the list.
