    It was a normal day in Alaska when it happened. The children were at school, the adults at work and others were roaming around. Then-without warning, the clouds turned grey and the sky spat rain. In two different locations, the Gates opened. The structures were resembled roman architecture, but had distinctly different features. That being dragon and rune inscriptions, but the most glaring difference was that they led to a different world. One opened at sea and the other at land, from them came soldiers and mages along with fantastical creatures of legend. They began rainding towns and cities, before the military would arrive and annihilate them. We follow an operator named Jake V. Morgan as he's sent into the gate a few months later for a simple joint operation with a famous supersoldier team that went public during the initial attack. Will he be accepted as an outsider, or will he not? Only one way to find out.
