Not all wars are loud. Some unfold in silence; within thoughts, within memories, within the spaces we never speak of. A Thousand Quiet Wars is a collection of poems that traces the unseen conflicts of existence: the tension between who we are and who we are expected to be, between what we feel and what we hide. Each piece holds a moment of resistance, a fracture, or a fleeting understanding, small battles that shape us in ways the world rarely notices. "Have to Let It Linger" is a story of a teenage girl trying to make sense of her strange dreams and real-life impulses while dealing with disorders that grow destructive with her. She's met with strong lingering feelings about both those things, and it slowly weakens her worldview, making her question reality while also being hyperaware of reality. It all falls down exhaustingly for her, yet in the midst of all this, she tries to make her social life better but she doesn't realise how thin the gap of reality and fiction has gotten.
