A speaker wrestles with longing, grief, and thwarted devotion. Night, rain, and burning waves mirror an ageless heart consumed by passion and sorrow. Questions of worth and purpose arise-a humble steed seeking redemption, a maestro fearing the loss of his song and belonging, a woman bound by a path shaped by stolen prayer. An unsung hero, wordless with rage, is lost between life and death, propelled only by the hard "steel" counsel of his father-now entombed-that both burdens and guides him. Overall, it's a meditation on love, loss, and the struggle to find meaning under the weight of fate and memory.

Its appearance was the first thing that caught my eye as I step outside to breathe Flying and jostling its body in what would appear to be random aerodynamic patterns White With symmetrical wings I chased after it at first, but I slowed my pursuit until I became and observer of it At first I thought it was afraid of me, then it started to play with me Encircling my body at my feet and my head Sometimes it would fly off a couple of feet and then come back, perhaps searching for flowers to pollinate It would stop at this piece of red and brown plastic wrapper in the grass-with its wings still flapping faster than my could count the repetitions I felt like a child, reaching my hand out in different places to see if this beautiful creature would grace me with its presence They are often seen as signs of transformation Deadened trees are coming back to life, their once barren and lifeless limbs are now beginning to sprout their respected fruits All is a cycle of constant change; of renewal and rebirth A multitude of clouds appear in the young spring day, youthful and with sufficient enough noise that instills that childlike wonder we all have had In the backdrop, common house finches call and sing and dance at the day Theirs is currently the only one I can recognize...maybe there are sparrows chirping a out as well Orange peels pepper the ground, succulent fruits that have provided me a necessary burst of energy; the sun hides its face in the clouds no longer

This narrated epic (poem) fiction contains a collection of narrative persona poems, detailing each step of the narrator's descent from art into chaos. There are three parts: Impersonation, Persona, and Personnel. Three poems will be posted every three days, until completion. As humans everybody wants a grasp of freedom. Sometimes we think we have it in our grasp, but later we realize how we lost it. That is an illusion. The reality is we never really had it in the first place.

A "Narrative Poem"-- A bus of tourists find something wrong going on when they are led into a ghost town miles from help. Their uncanny tour guide disappeared, and the bus has stopped functioning. People are dropping one by one under a sun that never sets. A priest among them warns of a fate that might befall them if they do not leave: Of a large sleeping demon underneath the town that might awaken. But it might not be the death of some as uneasiness rises among them.
