The sirens had stopped, and even the Narrator had fallen quiet at the sudden change in course. In a scripted story, the protagonist isn't supposed to make any actual meaningful decisions (though perhaps this story wasn't as scripted as the Narrator had assumed). --- - Human!Narrator - Has references to the game and the demo - Stanley & the Narrator are fully aware of/remember all resets - Major canon divergence (Leaving the Office AU) - The Narrator narrates most of the story, however still has some pieces of individual dialogue - PS: Yes, the chapter titles are song lyrics

this is a wip Stanley Parable fanfic. Its a bit of a slow Stanley x Narrator fic with a good dose of hurt/comfort mostly on the Narrator's side. Essentially I wrote the fic I wanted to read. I haven't written fanfiction in like years so apologies if it kinda sucks im also vary dyslexic so spelling errors are a given but I will try to fix any that are pointed out in the comments.

[The Stanley Parable] A collection of one-shot Stannarrator stories that all take place in the same universe. They're in order of when they happen chronologically and not in the order of when they were published!! Keep in mind that in The Stanley Parable there is an ending that deals with suicide and another ending that deals with what I can only describe as (because of the lack of better words) existential panic that leads to death. I haven't been able to find many Stanley x Narrator stories, so here I am. I will create some simple one shots and stories of my current, hyper fixated ship. Enjoy! The title art is mine, it's crappy, I know, I drew it as I made the title page, I'll make a better one later. Actual description of stories: I believe in the au where Stanley is mute, and uses sign language to communicate. While he highly prefers to stay quite, he does say some words every once in a while, but they're usually whispered because of how rarely he talks. There will be nothing any farther than kissing and hugging. I will not put such things in this story. (Now if you want me to make another story with it, I just might if I'm asked.)

The Narrator and Stanley have finally agreed to work together to break the illusion they are trapped in. However, there is a higher power at work here that won't let them go so easily, can they escape and live happily? or will they be dragged back to play their sick and twisted mind games?

Why did he need to defy me? No matter what, no matter how many times he died or failed, he wouldn't break. He wouldn't give up. He wouldn't listen to me. It was so pointless; it angered me. What purpose was there in it? To prove he could choose his own fate? What a fool he was. He would see. I would make him see. He couldn't control his fate, I did. He couldn't escape. He wouldn't escape. He would see. He needs me. [ TW: mentions of suicide, gore, I think you get the point. Also, the Narrator is a little crazy, so we have that too. ]
