When the Kyuubi is released at the birth of Minatos and Kuahinas triplets, the fourth Hokage summons the Shinigami to seal the bijuu within his children. His daughters each receive half of the chakra, while the soul is sealed within Naruto. But before the Shinigami can claim his reward, Minato outwits him by altering the seal, thereby protecting his own soul. Enraged and cheated out of his reward, the God of Death curses Naruto. Kami disapproves of his actions and decides to help the young jinchūriki. She gathers the hopes and dreams of the Bijuu and their jinchūriki and sends them down to ease Naruto's fate. Kiko, the Child of Hope, is born with the power to change the world.

One choice made early in our young hero's life drastically alters our young hero's fate forever. Is it possible for him to have a better life than he did in Konoha and is it possible he can make a new friend? One who has felt his pain and shares his burden.
