The aftermath of the eventful fight between the kaijus, with every member that had been dispatched to eliminate the threat what was left was a new light. Narumi and Hoshina facing each other but to a different extent.

A/N: I rarely do one shots, so the updates will be very random. I'll try my best to do it once a month. So, enjoy~ And, I don't really know how to write fluff or happy endings, so, I'm just gonna put it out here as I believe most of it, will be depressing, angst and sad endings. Kurogane Street is the kind of place that softens people an alley of old paper lanterns, a ramen stall that burns garlic at midnight, and a tiny shop that repairs lanterns and writes names in flowing ink. Narumi Gen runs that shop. He's gentle, practical, and makes people feel steady in the way someone arranges cushions so guests can finally breathe. Shoshiro Hoshina appears in town during an autumn festival, eyes like the calm before rain, clothes dusted with a pattern of night blooming flowers. He's quietly brilliant at arranging tea and listening better than anyone Narumi's ever met. He rents the upstairs room above the tea house and becomes, slowly, the unspoken answer to all of Narumi's small, aching questions.
