This is my first fanfic in a very long time so I'm testing the waters again to practice with creative writing with characters I already know and love (and ship). This is one of the unplanned stories I have in mind so this one will go wherever it goes. That's why there isn't a description for the story itself. The first chapter was something I had written for fun and had no intention of making into something longer until something clicked with it! Read and find out and thank you for the understanding! During the great depression, in the year 1932, a man named Phoenix Wright is just about earning enough money to get by. On the opposite end, a man named Miles Edgeworth is living in luxury. The two men meet, despite their polar opposite financial situations. They soon find out they're opposites in many other ways as well.

So I've decided to take up a challenge given to me by some of my acquaintances. Here's what it was. Challenge: Listen to any song you want and write as much as you can until the song ends. You must play the song 3 times consecutively before you have to stop. Just write whatever you think of listening to the song. (I go over the time limit though.) It's going to be all NaruMitsu or EdgeWright until someone gives me another ship to use, or until I lose interest. Hope you don't mind. Nothing belongs to me besides the story plot and some extra items/scenes/people I stick into them. Phoenix and Miles and their back stories belong to Capcom as well as the other character's as well. Professor Layton and other people from that series mentioned belong to Level 5, although the characters will be from the crossover. So I'm going to do it, because hey, it sounds interesting. What if Phoenix Wright and Miles Edgeworth had switched places? In a different universe, Miles is the one who becomes Mia Fey's little protégé and works with her as a defense attorney to find the truth behind the DL-6 incident. Meanwhile, Phoenix is being raised by von Karma and obviously ends up adopting his dirty tactics as a prosecutor. It was only a matter of time before the two face each other in court. For the worse or for the best, only time will tell.
