Naru Osaka is a regular high school girl who had began feeling neglected and unwanted by her best friend, Usagi Tsukino ever since she became friends with various girls. Soon she finds a tiny pegasus named Helios shows up in her life, Naru is forced to become a sailor-suited warrior for justice, ally herself with warriors just like her, fight a force of evil from a distant past, and question the motives of her mysterious blonde pigtailed ally.

It's the year 2000 and Crystal Tokyo never came to be. The Starlights visit Earth to find Usagi raising baby Chibi-Usa on her own. Seiya struggles to admit she wants to be more than just friends, while Usagi's old feelings for Seiya resurface. But is that the worst of their problems when a new threat has followed them and ghosts from the past return?
