In this world, there have been tales of ancient clans that once lived in the way of the Shinobi. The Usagi clan is one of these Ancient Clans. Once part of the original twelve, the Usagi clan lived in peace along the rest, until a mighty war broke out to see who was stronger. Several of the clans did not survive the war, unable to make a comeback from the ruins that they were left in. The Usagi clan however managed to survive. The Usagi clan split into two branches that live in different lands. With the clan split, the two branches have different ways of living. One lives in the Land of Snow, training in Medical Ninjutsu and being Assassins. The other lives in peace in the forest where their clan originally made their home. But the time for the clans to reunite, not just the Usagi, back all the clans, may have finally come. Chi Usagi is a young ninja from the Hidden Snow Village who comes from a Ancient Clan and is the eldest child to Ogima Usagi, his wife Nao Usagi and sister to Helios Usagi. Chi lived a happy life with her parents and her younger brother, but something has happened. While out on a mission other ninja who clam to be from the Land of Snow go after her and now she's on the run. She is told that her clan has been whipped out and that she was the one who did it. Now on the run, she finds a destroyed village in the Land of Tears where not to fare away she finds an injured Uchiha. Helping with his injury she finds out his name, Itachi Uchiha. Now she's a member of the Akatsuki and one of Itachi's partners. She hopes to get his attention, affection and find out the truth about what happened to her clan. Are they really gone or was it just a big trick to get her away from her family? Sakura's POV I walked straight to the north side of the fountain. Tears flooded my emerald eyes, as it streamed down my face. Hopelessly wishing on the fountain, holding a penny. Sasuke's POV I was at the south part of the wishing fountain on our neighborhood park. I felt guilty, anger, pity and confusion. I should've been there for her. I messed up, a lot. This is the only thing left I could think about doing. ~~~ "I wish she would come back." Sasuke threw a penny, as a teardrop fell from his face, regretting what he had done. ... "I wish they would know the truth about her and that they would know what I'm feeling right now." Sakura threw her penny. She wiped her tears off of her hopeless face. The two walked away in different directions. Not knowing that the person they wanted to see was so close. ----- What could've happened? Why was their last hope was making a wish on a fountain?
