I couldn't stop staring at the new guy sitting in the back of the room. He seemed mysterious, almost like he was hiding something. His ice-blue eyes met mine for several seconds before I worked up the courage to smile. The corners of his mouth twitched before curving downward into a frown. It wasn't an angry frown, but more of a sad frown. His eyes turned into curious eyes piercing mine. Our staring didn't break until the teacher's startling voice rang out through the classroom. With this, he returned his gaze back to the window he was staring at before he noticed me. He was fixated on the gloomy raindrops that were steadily falling. Lost in his own world, in his own dark mind. WARNING: Some themes of this story deal with self harm and suicide.

Adelaide "Della" Fontaine has one summer to figure out who she's supposed to become. Eighteen, freshly aged out of the only life the state ever assigned her, Della arrives in Nashville with a duffel bag and a lawyer's letter-the house at the end of Bellwood Ave. is hers now, left behind by a mother she barely got the chance to know. She has three months before real life is supposed to start. Instead, she gets a sagging porch, a stubborn magnolia tree, an aunt who isn't sure whether to be a stranger or family, and a bedroom that still faintly smells like someone else's childhood. She wasn't supposed to fall for anyone this summer. She definitely wasn't supposed to fall for Tanner Hutchins, the boy who works the counter at the diner two blocks over-steady, funny, and entirely outside the mess she's untangling at home. But Nashville in July has a way of rearranging plans. Between porch-light evenings and the kind of easy, electric almost-something neither of them wants to name yet, Della starts to let herself believe this summer might actually be about something good, separate from all the rest of it. As the Nashville heat settles in-honky-tonk nights, porch-light evenings, and a town that seems to remember her mother better than Della ever got to-she starts pulling apart the story she was never told. Somewhere between the letters she finds and the people who won't quite look her in the eye, Della has to decide what to keep, what to let go, and who she wants to be once the summer ends and there's no one left to tell her. Set against the long, golden days of a Nashville summer, So It Goes is a coming-of-age romance about found family, first love, and discovering that home isn't always the place you come from-sometimes it's the place that chooses you. Because not everything we leave behind is truly gone.

Gdy przypadkowe spotkanie prowadzi ją do The Blue Note, a kolejne deszczowe wieczory splatają jej życie z grupą młodych muzyków, Dannleya staje przed czymś, przed czym uciekała od lat.

Sleek beauties, muscles that roll underneath the supple coat that hangs majestically on the frame. A flowing mane that unfurls and whips as the wind calls it, feet that pound the ground The quivering of the haunches as they rock forward, a toss of the head and the eyes rolling backward - big, genuine eyes that saw through and with you. But Amy, her best friend, still believes they can be together and sets out for them to meet again while Reina sets out to find out what she has missed from her past. This is a short story, not a long story because I feel the couple needs a real ending after what happened in A Different Christmas Vacation. I hope you like!
