The Avengers are a team, yes. They work together, they suit up and they fight the bad guys, but they all care about each other; they wouldn't have been so successful if they didn't. So sure, they're a band of super humans, aliens, and specialized assassins, but they're also a great big dysfunctional family, and they have interactions just like every other one.
