Nathan Smith, preferably known as Nate, is a commoner, and 17. His family's poor, and he goes, sometimes, a week at the most without food or water. He owns a little fruit stand to help his parents, but sometimes he doesn't have enough money if his own. His family, even him, gets sick very often due to the state they were in. But he tries to make it through and not let his family down. Matthew Patrick, he is the king of Nottera. His father and mother have become to ill to run the kingdom. Matthew is only 18, which is young for a king, but sense he is an only child, he had to rule. Matthew knew about the smiths problem, and the son. But Matthew knows how sick the poor boy has been getting everyday, and wants to help. What happens when Matthew sees this boy steal, when he knew that this guy had no criminal record. What does Matthew do when he starts to fall in love? Read and find out.
