To feed their craving for excitement, they drop a handful of Death Notes into the Human World at the same time, kickstarting an unprecedented new era. Near (the world's greatest detective) and Matsuda (Chief of the NPA) must work with reluctant doctor Mawaru Kibou to find the other notebooks, and bring order back to the world. But can the doctor, or anyone else for that matter, possess the Death Note without losing themselves? Based on the original story by Tsugumi Ohba and Studio Madhouse. As Near and Kana dig up the past, painful memories surface for all involved. Will they be able to push aside their past and move on ? Will Light be on the right side of justice this time ? Or will he support the new user of the Death Note ? Who is the new owner of the deathnote ? What are their motives ? Will they get drunk on its power like Kira before them? Was Light's purge as Kira truly beneficial ? I do not own Death Note or any characters. I only own my OC, Kana Yagami and the plot. this fanfic is a continuation of my very first fanfic called: I want to go to you in this fanfic it is revealed that Akira (the eldest son of Light and L) has run away from home, because he is angry with both his fathers, but especially his father, for his past and the terrible deeds he has done along with his biological mother. Now Light is doing everything he can to find his eldest son and bring him back to his home, but he has to do something first. But he is not alone: Mello and Matt, who will become a father, help him, no matter how difficult the job of finding Akira seems

After the tragic death of (y/n)'s parents death she gets dropped off at this ordinary orphanage in a small town when she encounters this case of a robbery, curious she decides to solve it getting attention from L. She then gets tutored by the talented L until she goes to the Whammy house to come face to face with Near which many think he's to become L's next successor. After spending time with the talented near and working on the Kira case how will these two emotionless people act and will their previos relationship as friends develop into something else?

What happens when you find out you had a completely different life before all your memories were replaced? Mello had experienced the same thing, and now his forgotten rival has appeared out of nowhere. Near pulls his memories out right away, but what now?
