But as time passes, you realised that it was impossible and decided to quit. Years passed and suddenly, figure skating became so popular during the 2018 Winter Olympics. Not only that, you were captivated by Japan's rockstar, Yuzuru Hanyu. His performance made you want to skate again but you realised it was impossible since you're now a uni student. But what if out of all the chances, you were able to meet Yuzuru Hanyu. Will your meeting be a turning point in your life or will it be your downfall??

In the early summer of 2018, Skandar Keynes moves to the United States where he meets Sierra, one of the world's greatest figure skaters (some of the places, people, and last names are going to not be mentioned do to privacy reason). This is just a short little story with short chapters, and includes some romance. Enjoy!

My reasons as to why figure skating is a really tough sport based on my life as a skater

You become the world's greatest figure skater, but being at the top means you make many enemies who are all jealous of you. Who will turn to dark deeds to stop your championships and who actually has your back?

After her father ruined her career and a chance of a lifetime he decides to turn her friends on her as well. "Pick up the phone" Alex and Maia texted over and over "We are your friends" Shoma called "All theses so called friends, but who are the real ones " Her father laughed "Mia, Mia please let me in" Nathan whispered. "I can't." She cried. "You just need to TRUST me" he answered. She looked up from the floor. "Trust?!"

If you had the chance to redeem yourself would you take it? Of course I would what kind of question is that? Even if it cost you everything? I would give anything just to get an Olympic gold medal on my neck. Even if it's my last time on the podium Nathan Chen has made history in the figure skating community. His reign as the "quad king" has gained him recognition and respect throughout the figure skating community. His recent victories at competitions has ended his season on a pretty high note. Now's he's facing the road up to the 2022 Olympics where's he looking to redeem himself from his mess-ups in Pyeongchang where he won't just prove the people who doubted that he could make it this far but also to show himself that his skating career is worth his blood sweat and tears. Angelica Choi was on top of the world. At her senior debut at the age of 15 she won all of her Grand Prix events placed 2nd at the final. She won her first national went on to win Four Continents and then gain her first world title. Everyone thought that she would be the one the US would send to the Olympics and win that year. That's when everything spiraled downhill. During practice she was attempting to land a triple axel, in order to live up to the high expectations placed on her, she had a brutal fall causing her to get both a concussion as well as damaging her right leg and fracturing her right foot. Her chance of going to the 2018 Olympics in Pyeongchang died that day. After taking the whole season off to recover her skating had taken a sudden turn. She had missed out on going to the Grand Prix Final placed 4th at Nationals and missed out on going to Worlds. Now during the Pre Olympic season she finds herself in a difficult position. That's when the quad king himself helps her back on her feet. Will she be able to comeback and redeem herself or will she become a memory of the past and drag Nathan down with her?

Yuzuru Hanyu is an up and coming figure skater, so is Mackenzie Grace Suzuki. Both are trying to reach the top of their respective disciplines, but will love get in the way or will it add the final ingredient to their skating that both of skaters are missing. Follow Mackenzie as she goes though thick and thin to reach the top of women's figure skating. P.S I don't own the cover I got it off the internet.
