My reasons as to why figure skating is a really tough sport based on my life as a skater

A short simple, slightly cheese light hearted story. Like a One shot divided into three parts. Y/n pov. The story goes into the anxiety athletes face when performing, to sometimes the facade they put on for their audience. And how a single person can sometimes make them feel at ease. Even Single player sports sometimes require a whole team.

What if... The skaters could live the lives that they never got to fully experience? In a parallel universe, none of the skaters know how to skate. No trainings to attend, competitions to take part in, nothing. Instead, they lead ordinary high school lives, complete with homework to do, friends to make, crushes to crush (not really). There is a catch, however. All these skaters all go to the same university prep school. Bonding over misunderstanding each other through the language barrier. How wonderful This is what happens when you take a handful of your favorite figure skaters, two overly obsessed skating fans (Who fail at writing but nevertheless, still write stories.) and dump two (heaped) tablespoons of exaggeration stir it together and BAM! (maybe make that 4) There you have it, Skaters 101. (but without the skating) This is a purely fictional crack fiction. Any references to real life people or incidents are all by coincidence.

A book full of the not so glorious but relatable things that happens to all figure skaters

Yuzuru Hanyu is an up and coming figure skater, so is Mackenzie Grace Suzuki. Both are trying to reach the top of their respective disciplines, but will love get in the way or will it add the final ingredient to their skating that both of skaters are missing. Not only that, you were captivated by Japan's rockstar, Yuzuru Hanyu. His performance made you want to skate again but you realised it was impossible since you're now a uni student.
