This story is written in the perspective of our main character, Sophie, who is an exchange student from France, going to Blackwell high. While attending Blackwell, she meets a young man named Nathan Prescott, who at the time, is a distant and moody boy who's bullied because his parents are known for taking jobs from some of the students parents, and for buying the coach off so Nathan can join the football team. She grows acquainted with him, wondering if their relationship could possibly go beyond just friends. There was no doubt that Nathan Prescott was a very troubled person disturbed even. Only those People who were part of the vortex club knew what he was like behind his facade and when he wasn't being a whiny little rich kid. But it wasn't until you came across him having one of his breakdowns you managed to help him out and cause some sort of bond onwards between the two of you. And that's where you realized he was a damaged soul.

There's just something about traveling at night. It's calming in a way. You can relax after a long day and just see the road stretch out before you. There are so many possibilities. It's enough to make you feel invincible, brave, even. It might just make you do something you've never done before.~ (This is a super old Naley One Tree Hill fanfic of mine.
