Short Story: When America decides Mexico would be better off under his "help," he launches a relentless campaign of persuasion: promises of prosperity, economic pressure, military posturing, and even tacos. Mexico, well aware of America's long record of taking more than he gives, refuses every offer. Frustrated, America searches for a way to out-argue, outmaneuver, and out-justify his neighbor, only to be confronted with a past he insists on excusing.
This is a political parody where diplomacy looks a lot like manipulation and history refuses to stay buried.
