No one in town talks about the forest anymore. Not after the disapperances. not after the cold winters when the wind started sounding like voices. Mara Calder never believed the stories. Skin Walkers stealing faces. The starving spirit in the trees that learns your name. Those were just things people said to scare kids away from the woods. But when Mara and her friends cross the old trail line, the forest grows quiet in a way that feels intentional. Footprints appear where no one walked. The wind whispers things it should not know. And when one of them disappear, something comes back wearing his smile. The Rules reveal themselves too late. Do not answer the voices you can not see. Do not follow the footprints that end too cleanly. and if someone returns alone... do not let them touch you. Because the forest is hungry. it is learning. And it does not let anyone leave unchanged. by the time Mara understands what is hunting them, the real question is no longer who will survive. it is who the forest plans to keep.

Completed. Artifice is the tale of Florence and her search for love and a place within her pack. As the first female Beta werewolf in recorded history, she was lost in her loneliness and searching for something... anything to fill the hollow spot within her life. She'd fought hard to achieve her goals, but success had begun to taste like ash. An excerpt... Quickly shifting back into her human form, Florence rifled through the packs and found that the men had brought her a pair of hiking boots with pink neon laces, a pair of pink Daisy Duke shorts, white frilly socks, and a white cropped tee-shirt with a logo that said, 'I do it doggy-style'. Her head snapped around to growl at John, but he studiously ignored her gaze, as did the two older Betas-- though these two didn't work as hard to hide their smirks. Yanking these clothes on to her sweaty body, she wondered, once again, why she had worked so hard to impress these three idiots, as the men were unrelenting in their efforts to annoy her- never giving her a moment of peace. Not wanting to dwell on this, she swallowed her irritation with her Alpha and instead focused on work, calmly reporting the conversation of the two humans. "Sorry about the clothes Flo, err... Florence. We couldn't resist, umm... I mean that... all we could find were Beth's clothes." "Tell me again why it's wrong to kill one's Alpha," she snapped back sourly. "Because I need to go talk to those two humans," he grinned while all four wolves finished dressing. "Play the part of my girlfriend; try to look a bit vacant so they'll ignore you as a threat." "Wearing Beth's clothes, that should be easy," she snapped again. Sam chuckled and said, "See John, I told you... camouflage, it works every time!" "I will get even with you two if it takes a couple of centuries," Florence growled in response. "See Tom, I told you that she would be thankful!"

Main themes will revolve around morality, culture, and legacy. Cover by Canva.

Some men become legends. Others become ghosts. Born in 1826 to war hero Arkais Ransom and the fearless Cherokee woman Awinita, Sganyodaiyo Ransom was raised between two worlds - the blood of a knight flowing through his veins, and the spirit of the frontier burning in his soul. But as America expanded westward, greed followed close behind. Corrupt railroad tycoons stole land from struggling families. Banks crushed small towns beneath debt. Lawmen sold justice to the wealthy while innocent people suffered in silence. Then one night, a masked outlaw emerged from the shadows of Red Creek. He robbed trains. He emptied bank vaults. He vanished before the law could catch him. And every stolen dollar somehow found its way back to the poor. Soon, whispers spread across the Wild West about a phantom rider dressed in black - a man who moved like smoke through the forests and deserts of America. They called him... The Ghost of Red Creek. Hunted by bounty hunters, feared by the powerful, and loved by the people, Sganyodaiyo Ransom would become one of the greatest outlaws in American history - a Wild West Robin Hood whose legend refused to die. But legends come with a price... and the closer the law gets to Red Creek, the more dangerous the truth becomes. ⚔️ Outlaw. Hero. Ghost. 🌙 A son of two worlds. 🔥 A legend born in the ashes of revolution.

As I climbed my way up the ancient tree, I kept my eyes peeled for place to lodge my bare feet into the curves and crevices of its bark. Pulling myself up by its strong vines, I was finally high enough to grab hold of a sturdy branch. With one great heave, I lift myself onto my perch. The wind whipped my long strands of hair into my face. Distractedly, I tucked them behind my ear, staring at the site before me. "What do you see, my child?" Called Grandmother Willow. She stood below the tree, her hands cupped around her mouth to help her voice carry over to me. What do I see? I wish I knew myself. The massive, billowing white fabric scraped against the sky as it moved through the trees. They seemed to have a mind of their own, moving steadily in one direction. The tall forest concealed the rest of the view from me, leaving me at the mercy of my own imagination. Was it possibly dangerous? Harmless? The thought excited me yet scared me to the core. It was big and bold yet subtle, camouflaging with the white fluffy masses floating along side it in the sky. "Clouds?" I reasoned out loud. "Strange clouds." If they really were just clouds, it was far from anything I have ever seen. Curiosity flooded my mind, clutching me with its iron grip. Dangerous or not, my mind was made up. I will follow these strange clouds.
