Teagan and Ollie met when they were five years old and cast as Mary and Joseph in their primary school Christmas nativity. They didn’t exactly hit it off well, with both being less than impressed at having to hold hands with the other and after heartbreak at the tender age of five, they distance themselves from one another. But when the opportunity arises for them to reprise their famous roles, will the outcome be of heart break yet again or finally of love?

A Christmas carol I wrote.

"Every true gift is a sacrifice." A fir tree, once a gift to a boy from his father, becomes so much more in this original fable backstory of one of the least described props in the traditional Nativity scene. The inspiration for this short story hit me suddenly when I saw The Christmas Tree Contest here on Penana. I started writing, and it wasn't long before I realized this was going to be a lot longer than 700 words!
