Listen, we all know Nick and Gatsby are seen by a lot of people (including yours truly) as very homosexual. And anyone that knows me knows that I struggle with bringing myself to write predominantly sad stories. So for now you, dear reader(s?), and I can pretend that Daisy was a little better at driving, Gatsby came to terms with Daisy being out of reach (and with his own sexuality), and instead of us interpreting Nick and Jay as gay for each other, they are very, very explicitly gay for each other as they find when they spend more time together and away from the deceit of people they once thought of more kindly.

Jay Gatsby is supposed to be dead. So is Nick Carraway. After months of loneliness and grief, Nick and Gatsby wake up in West Egg - again, and again, and again.

Scott Fitzgerald (I believe you should read his original work before mine, if you want to see how truthful it is to the original story and/or to see the changes) focuses around Nick Carraway and Jay Gatsby's relationship, which slowly blossoms from neighbors, to friends, and to more. The Great Gatsby, but I amplified the gayness so its even more obvious.

Nick Carroway is a high school student. He's not very popular and he only has one friend, Jordan. But all that changes when he meets Jay Gatsby. Jay Gatsby introduces him to new people and opens up a whole new world of possibilities for Nick. When he becomes friends with Gatsby he becomes more aware of other feelings he has for his new found friend. Yet Gatsby's head is turned in a different direction. Daisy. Daisy is all Gatsby will talk about. But they've been in a relationship before and that didn't end too well. Will Gatsby finally realize what he's been missing with Nick or will he run back to Daisy? Fair warning, this is pretty much my first fanfiction. So it sucks. Basically read at your own risk, and be ready to cringe.

**Description subject to change** This is a Gatsby fanfiction. This contains canon divergence and different plot points from the original book by F. Scott. Fitzgerald. If you haven't read the book, (but are here somehow?) then I suggest reading it as there will be spoilers. This fanfiction also contains vampires and werewolves, and if that's not your take, then this story might not be for you. There will be canon divergence (clearly) and a near rewrite to The great Gatsby in some aspects. There are new characters and new/different character interactions. There are changes in some backstories.

So, I just read and watched the movie, The Great Gatsby and I ship Nick and Gatsby so much, so I decided to make a oneshots book about them.

Most of these are requested or made by my friends and sometimes we use a spin wheel thing to make up ships so if there is one in here you don't like, just skip it. I won't be doing any minor x adult or any of that weird shit, but I'm pretty flexible as I am a hardcore multi-shipper that ships basically anything.

Nick Carraway, the narrator in "The Great Gatsby" by F. Scott Fitzgerald is back to give us a short reflection on his summer on Long Island. This is a songfic using the monologue lyrics of the song "National Anthem" by Lana Del Rey. Nick Carraway still loves Jay Gatsby. And he always will.

High school senior, Nick Carraway, moves to New York and attends the same school as his cousin, Daisy. Nick meets many odd characters in his new school, by far the most intriguing being Jay Gatsby. Dying to know more about the elusive Gatsby, Nick befriends him and starts of unearth many secrets about the past of West Egg. Nick figures out where he belongs in the Great Gatsby's story; a story that will no doubt be filled with secrets, heartbreak, and love. Story is original, but characters belong to F. Scott Fitzgerald.
