But it's a story with a twist. Follow the Journey of Rayas Kanzaki and see where his life takes him. Will the bonds with friends be broken or will they be fixed and become something more than just friends?

(Disclaimer: I don't own the characters from "The Dreaming Boy Is A Realist" or the franchise, only the plot of this fanfic in the story. The characters and the franchise belong to the one who wrote the Japanese light novel series named Okemaru.) On the surface, Natsukawa Aika may seem like she hates Sajou Wataru. After all, he's the type to never take a "no" for an answer and continues being persistent in pursuing his love for her, approaching her whenever he gets the chance. In response, she always rejects him and sometimes, she even ends up hitting him. But what happens when Wataru comes to a realization and starts becoming distant because of it? As the saying goes "Absence makes the heart grow fonder" and as the distance between the two grows more and more, Aika begins to have a realization of her own. This fanfic is solely in Aika's P.O.V. btw and will be exploring her inner thoughts as she tries to figure out how she truly feels about Wataru. Though with how I'm planning to go about this fanfic, the portrayal of the characters may be more or less different. If you don't mind that, feel free to read and I hope you enjoy ^^
