This is a story inspired by the song "Boys Will Be Bugs" by Cavetown (if you haven't heard it yet go listen to it rn) Naruki has no friends and gets bullied at school all the time. Not to mention, he is also abused by his drunken father constantly, both physically and emotionally. This is until a new girl named, Yuri, transfers to Naruki's school and they quickly become friends. Although, after learning a bit more about the female world from Yuri, Naruki starts to question his gender identity. (Btw in this story they're in 8th Grade) will Naruki figure out who he truely is? will he escape from his father's abuse? find out in this story!! Credits to the original artist for the cover!! I do not own Doki Doki Literature Club, all rights are to Team Salvato. This story was inspired by DDLC and modded DDLC stories. What would it be like to see from the perspective of the main character who suffered from a traumatic experience before joining the Literature Club? Maybe he might share something in common with one of the members...Or maybe something in common with every club member? I have no hopes for this being the next DDLC mod, but I wrote it for fun.

"Yuri, c'mon, wake up!" Yuri felt a slight nudge on her shoulder, but didn't bother to open her eyes. She grunted slightly and lightly shoo-ed her friend's hand away. "Yuri, please?" Sayori didn't give up. "What do you want" the tall girl grumbled with a tone that was usually only reserved for Natsuki. Usually she would immediately apologize and say that she didn't mean it in a mean way. But usually included being in a clubroom after school, not Monika's house at 2 A.M. "Would you go to the store with me? I'm hungry and Monika is out of bread~" Sayori showed her a goofy grin. A sigh escaped Yuri's lips as she got up, something cracking in her wrist, oh well. Even on her knees and slightly hunched forward she was towering over the girl. Her face was still scrunched up from the sudden awakening. "So is that a yes?"

Natsuki is pulled in by Yuri to help her start dating MC. But little does Yuri know that her heart belongs to a different person.

Hello hello! Thank you for checking out my little story. DDLC is one of my favorite games/fandoms so I decided, 'why not make my own story?' This is kinda my first or second time (depending when or if I post my other story) writing a full book/story. I didn't see many Sayuri books and I actually quite like the ship, so, here we are! The title may change if I find a better one- The beginning/making of the club scenes are based a little off the side story's in DDLC+. Again thank you for checking out my little story, I'd really appreciate any constructive criticism you have or (if I posted anything else) that you'd go check my other stories out!
