As Flame spends more time in the healing center, and with Umber, he starts to heal in more ways than one. But can he overcome the hate that's been growing in him for so long?

Kdo by neznal Nautilus? Nejtajemnější ponorku všech moří. Nikdo neví, komu patří. Nikdo nezná její posádku. A přesto její jméno znají námořníci od ledových severních vod až po tropické oceány. Nevynořuje se často. Ale když ano, přichází s ní bouře. Nejdřív se zvedne vítr. Moře potemní a obloha zčerná, jako by se nad oceánem otevřela noc. Kompasy se začnou točit, rádia praskají podivným šumem a zkušeným kapitánům zamrzne krev v žilách, protože vědí, co to znamená. Nautilus je nablízku. Někteří tvrdí, že ji zahlédli mezi blesky - obrovský černý trup klouzající pod hladinou jako mořské monstrum. Jiní slyšeli jen hluboký kovový tón sonaru, který se rozléhal mlhou jako umíráček. A pak... bouře náhle ustane. Vítr zmizí. Vlny se uklidní. Moře je tiché a hladké jako sklo. A právě tehdy si lidé uvědomí, že jedna loď chybí. Stejně jako Titanic mizí v hlubinách - pomalu, nevyhnutelně, jako by si ji oceán sám stáhl dolů. Po posádce nezůstane nic. Žádné trosky. Žádné volání o pomoc. Jen prázdná voda a ticho. Námořníci proto nevěří, že je Nautilus obyčejná ponorka. Je to přízrak oceánu. Stín pod hladinou. A možná i samotná smrt, plující v ocelovém trupu pod černými vlnami.
