Hierd Die Grace, or at least the name he uses now, wakes up in another world with his memories blurry and incomplete, only pieces of his old life left behind. What he does have is something strange: he can bring anything from the 1900s to the 1950s into this world, like guns, warships, planes, and military equipment. He starts small with a village, then a city, and then something that keeps growing far beyond what it was meant to be, and after that, he just keeps going. [ ! slow burn, detail-oriented novel ! ] Monsters of the winter, wars with countries, with the ever expanding presence of his empire, Hierd battles with humans, monsters, countries, entire continents with armies, navies and magical prowess. A rift in a medieval world; how will Hierd expand his empire? How will he use his power? And more importantly, what of his future? --- "You are what I think you are, I am what you think I am." - Hierd Die Grace

Sixteen years ago, the certain Mr. Rocco, was reincarnated into another world as the son of a noble, attending the kingdom's naval academy with aspirations to become his family's next big admiral for the distant sea-side nation of Nassia. After graduating the academy and joining the navy, he finally fulfills his plan to construct warships from his world, earlier into his career; it was ironclads, then pre dreadnaughts, then full fledged dreadnaughts. Nassia had never been seen as a real threat. But with Admiral Rocco leading fleets of warships no one else in the world could match, the great empires were finally forced to pay attention.

In the run-up to the Second World War the French military constructed an extensive line of fortifications along the border with Germany known as the Maginot Line. When the invasion finally came it proved useless as the panzer formations routed around it. The French high command in the intervening years had failed to take into account the advent of newer weapons, and the more fluid nature of contemporary warfare. What are some examples of modern-day Maginot lines?

[WATTYS 2018 Longlist] For fans of The Atlantis Gene, The Hunger Games, and Red Rising, this high-suspense, action-filled, sci-fi novel continues the story of a teenager from the outback who finds himself fighting for his survival. In a race against time, now he learns it's not only his life but the existence of planet Earth that's at stake. Storm has discovered a shocking secret hidden in plain sight. One the world can never be told about! The tiny sister star to the Sun is their ultimate weapon... so long as it remains a secret. Storm Elliot and corporal Sean Cameron are on a mission to warn Sydney of an unthinkable natural disaster that's about to strike. To survive the earthquakes, tsunamis, and the sun flares the people must travel inland. But, the two men find the city a fortress under the control of brutal government forces. Meanwhile, a nuclear submarine crosses the Pacific with a very special cargo. A bizarre experiment is about to target the rising unrest that is a result of the global economic collapse. Storm and his companions have their work cut out for them... Ancient forces far stronger than any government are playing a multilayered and deadly game. As the Dark Star wreaks havoc on the solar system, the hidden players position themselves to call checkmate on planet Earth... To survive and save those he cares about, Storm must understand the players and the game, but he has very little time left. While this full-length novel is Book II of The Erelong Trilogy, it can also be enjoyed as a standalone. _________ Amazon Reviewers Say: This book has some serious suspense... Great apocalyptic read!! Very descriptive text and suspenseful. So many elements of truth that it is terrifying to think of the possibility. The characters are very endearing. I liked them from the get go and they really got me invested in the story. _________ May Day is Book 2 in The Erelong Trilogy, but it can be enjoyed as a standalone.

There were once two battlecruisers, on opposite sides. HMS Queen Mary with the British, and SMS Derfflinger with the Germans. One day, it was discovered that the two battlecruisers actually had feelings for each other. How will they cope to all events and how will their respective navies react to their relationship? Their story began in WW1. After it's end, it would truly begin in 1992 when they were both launched. They met each over in late 2019 and started hanging out in early 2020. They both knew the risk of their relationship, as their respective sides, Britain and Germany, were rivals. It is the year 2020. Amidst WW3. In a reality where it doesn't have any impact. On October 14th of that year the two realities will reunite. Queen Mary and Derfflinger's relationship would not stay a secret for long, as their respective navies will find out about it. However their reactions would be something both Queen Mary and Derfflinger never expected. I seem to not own characters, as the characters involved were real things. I don't own the two images used either.
