The baby didn't cry, she just stared at the vast beauty of the deep blue sky. She was as calm as the waves that day. Lau'ri couldn't take his eyes off of her. His life had been blessed with a beautiful girl they named Raeya. "Take me away from here," she whispered quietly. Neteyam lifted his head away from hers and looked at her. "Away? What do you mean?" He was confused by her words. But she just looked at him and placed both her hands on the sides of his face. Persephone Jackson, hero of Olympus and slayer of Kronos wakes up under a water tree with strange spirits caring for her and an older Navi after sacrificing herself in the battle of Gaia to save earth. He leans nearer anyway, breath grazing her ear. "Then stop reaching for me." Every encounter is wrong-too quiet, too charged, too aware. Their hands never touch, yet she feels him everywhere. This is an immersive longfic with World Building x 100 because I included references from the comics and from so many avatar wiki pages which I also explain in detail at bottom notes for those of you who only watched the movies. Neteyam Sully has one job: don't embarrass his family, and don't make a fool of himself in front of the Metkayina. As the eldest son of the Toruk Makto, he's spent his whole life playing soldier-keeping his queue tucked, protecting his hot-headed brother, and carrying his father's unrealistic expectations on his shoulders. When someone comes from a navi family where everyone else is successful and praised by the clan, it always hard to live up to that status if you are seen as the family black sheep or shame. That was lo'ak life as he could never do anything right in his parents or clan eyes, as he would never be like neteyam or his sister kiri and tuk. Soon stripped of his family name and soon banished as well see as outcast by his own family and other clan, no longer a sully until he found a new place that welcome him and loved him for him.
