She came to Nazi Germany to save her cousin. Falling for a German officer was never part of the plan. As war looms and loyalties are tested, Sophia must decide who to trust-and how far she's willing to go for the people she loves. A sweeping WWII novel perfect for fans of The Nightingale and All the Light We Cannot See. Author's Note: This is a rewrite/revamp of a book series I finished and published in 2014-2016. I would really appreciate constructive critiques and comments as I prepare to re-publish this new-and-improved version over the next year! I want to be sure the beginning of the book grips my readers, both old and new.

A woman lets a Jew hide with her for a few days, and over the course of that week, she begins to trust him and they grow closer as she realizes how complex society really is. This story was originally created by @Ineedmorethings so full credit to them. They were originally school projects and they have reached out to me to create this for them. They don't have the Wattpad app and are not able to create stories on Wattpad, which is the reason why they reached out to me. Again, full credit goes to @Ineedmorethings so if you like the story, please tell them that and follow them.

A young Muslim woman must fight for her family, future, and right to exist when a hateful, fascist regime is elected to govern America. Author's Note: "A Light On the Sea" is a short 500 word story inspired by Margaret Atwood's "The Handmaid's Tale," for the #MyHandmaidsTale contest. The main character is named Noor, which means "light" in Arabic. This story is a work of fiction, but the hateful statements within the story are inspired by actual comments made by sitting politicians and pundits, which makes the story all the more chilling. I wanted to use fiction to show how harmful and dangerous this kind of rhetoric is -- and how quickly it can escalate. Genocide is a slow process. No holocaust begins with physical violence. It begins with the normalization of hate speech.

I have decided to combine two things I love with something I hate: social media + writing with revision. This book will be dedicated to GCSE History. If you don't know what GCSEs are, they're the British education system's examination process for Year 11s, aka 10th graders. I hope these books will be of use to you as they have been to me. ^^
