Her suspects turn out to be true when she finds out the little girl had ran away from home due to her abusive upbringing. With no where to go or no one to take care of her Lyla volunteers to take her home for the night. The truth of what happened to the girl comes to the light, and Lyla finally knows her next step. Oddly enough, yes this is a Heroes fanfic. Nathan Petrelli had to teach his little brother Peter Petrelli everything. Their father never really cared. The two boys had a thirteen year age difference.
