This is one of my first fanfics I created and published. After a couple months, I looked back at this ff and I couldn't help but cringe. 《 Another thing I liked about South Korea? Huang Renjun. 》 I was shocked when me and my father had to move to South Korea because of my father's job. I didn't speak the language and I didn't know anyone there. I kept telling myself that, at least, it's only for a year. Unexpectedly, a boy my age, who introduces himself as Renjun, asks to sit next to me. We quickly became friends and soon I realized that you had development feelings for him that go beyond friendship and, for a while, I forgot that I only had one year in Korea.

Unlike some might claim, Renjun is not a grumpy loner. He should be allowed to know what he likes and dislikes - that's all he's asking for. And if one of his biggest dislikes just happens to be being surrounded by some random, demanding people, then it should be his right to stay away from such crowds. That's why he had never even considered becoming a barista. Until now. It's not like he didn't already have enough on his plate. Now he has to learn how to make an Instagram worthy cherry berry ade (what an absurd string of words) and try to not murder the customers, while trying to figure out how to fix his not-so-human side with the help of a nosy girl who apparently doesn't know how and when to shut up. Choyun and Renjun don't know each other well, they're barely more than acquaintances. To keep Choyun safe it looks like they're going to have to fake it until they make it. March 2021
