Nòno is not from our time, but human beings have always been the same. History shows us that we are not that different from those who lived back then. What were they like? What did they think? Was it difficult to survive? He asked me to upload it as he writes it. Every chaper is going to be really short, similiar lenght as the first one. I will translate the story in english the best as I can, please keep in mind it was originally written in a different language. if there are major mistakes let me know.

A novel I started but never finished, conceived during a college course. Maybe I'll pick it back up someday. Burdened with the "Primal Traits" of Consumption and Creation, 19-year-old Ulysses Ikenkeobara has moved to Colossal City to attend college and start fresh. But when he learns his classmate Gunhild Dao is involved in a serial murder case, he is drawn back into the world he wanted to escape. A world where the Children of Fire and the Children of Clay are locked in a struggle for their species' futures.

This is an alternate history short story set in a world I have created. I have some other stories written, as well as a novel, set in the same world. Alternate History is a subset of science fiction. It is typically not about the future but about a profoundly different past or present. The main difference in the world I have created is that the Neanderthals have not gone extinct. They are known as Ancients. (We are known as Newcomers.) Instead of running away from us, or trying to fight us, they decided to help us. Especially, they helped us increase our psychic powers. This has had a profound effect on our history, which I flesh out in my novel and short stories. In this story, a young man, Tadeu, has a favorite horse, Branca. Branca can think, and can communicate mentally. She especially enjoys it when Tadeu reads juicy novels set in Medieval times. Their life is upended by a terrible natural disaster and the equally terrible reaction to it by the survivors of the disaster. If you enjoyed this, I would love to read your comments.

500 word story for the April 14, 2023 weekend write-in prompt *expert*

When humans all over the world begin to regress, they must fight to survive as their understanding of the world degrades. Several hundred years into this situation, one Neanderthal discovers a device that transforms him back into a human, and he must rediscover how to use his higher intelligence, and how to deal with his lowered physics, capabilities.

The mission - colonize the slopes of Olympus Mons on Mars before the Pacific Alliance lands. The challenge - something isn't quite right with the site foreseen for the colony. Explorations reveal a cave where the support struts for the home dome are supposed to go. It gets worse - not only does the cave move, but it contains the impossible: a human skeleton. And there's a writing on the wall. What starts off odd, soon descends into total madness. But the next shuttle back to Earth doesn't launch until next year. ONC Prompt 59. The year is 2042. The first astronauts landed on mars. They find a cave with a single human skeleton and four words written on the wall.

Set during New Yellowstone Park, this is a guide to the de extinct Homo erectus, Neanderthals and Paleoindians that managed to survive extinction. In which they colonized mostly the national parks there and towards Central and South America.

Golau, a Cro-Magnon hunter gatherer, is pulled from a freezing lake and nursed back to health by a group of wandering Neanderthal. Miles away, his clan’s peaceful existence is torn apart by an attack from an unknown predatory species and many are taken beyond the ice wall as prey. Golau and some of the remaining men set out in pursuit and are joined by a pod of Neanderthal, seeking answers of their own. During the quest, the two species are forced to forget their differences and work together to survive despite some uncomfortable truths being revealed. Back in the Clan, those left behind are forced to change their ways very quickly if they are going to survive the oncoming winter and a young feisty girl with strange ideas leads them down a path completely alien to what they have always done. Beyond the ice wall, the horrifying truth about the third species is finally revealed and answers revealed that affect both hunter and Neanderthal alike. Ultimately a savage and bloody confrontation ensues between all parties, the outcome of which has the potential to affect the very future of humanity.

WHO THE HELL ARE WE? is a series of short books and videos describing the evolution of civilization. Almost everyone on the planet is five times wealthier than their ancestors only 50 years ago. This astonishing phenomenon has also improved health, education, and longevity. The cause; an explosive growth in ideas and productivity. It began when we learned to control fire, evolved articulate speech and stumbled onto the way to create infinite wealth; free trade. The discovery of agriculture made us richer but we also learned how to destroy wealth. Great civilization grew up but then disappeared leaving only incredible ruins and ideas. Within times of desperation, everyone is mostly doing anything they can for survival. The land itself is occupied by villains as heroes must arise. All from each side, even if they don't like each other or work together directly. This must be achieved in taking back the land from this evil nation or be doomed to conquest.
