Poem I wrote awhile ago and I'd like to see how people I don't know like it. I guess some background might help too. I was in Phoenix, AZ when a bullet came through the driver's side window missing my head by just a couple inches. luckily there was a police officer right there at a traffic stop and my teammate and I reported it. I was pretty shook up from it, but just held everything back trying to stay calm. Later that night the adrenalin finally wore off and I wrote this during that crash sitting on a parking curb by myself while the sun set. thanks for taking the time to read it and even more thanks for any feedback.
