The NDE is a creative writing exercise meant to give me a chance to test my creativity while simultaneously incorporating the most commonly mentioned things that people report after having a near death experience. This is not meant to be a full book but rather a short story told from the perspective of the protagonist who is experiencing a severe heart attack and the subsequent experiences there after.

They're then forced into hiding with the help of a new friend and ex-soldier, Sam. Can Rosette and Steve find a way to help their childhood friend or will they die trying? And will Rosette be able to restore Bucky to who he once was or will she fail and end up with a broken heart? Will Bucky ever be able to remember how to feel things like love and joy or will he hide behind a barricade of flesh and metal for the rest of his days? Read to find out...
