There is a boy new to the Fallen Leaves Mental Hospital that just came today and Near thinks that he's the key to unleashing the voices. But the voices keep convincing him otherwise...

I hated him. From the moment I laid my eyes on him. I don't quite understand why. Maybe it was because he was always better at me in everything. No matter how hard I tried he would be there to surpass me. It was like he wasn't even trying. It seemed he was just naturally great at everything. I wanted to stay as far away from him as possible.
