Bonnie Meidall was nothing more than the weird girl in the back of the class. She was thin and dreamy. Fifteen-year-old Bonnie Meidall, who suffers from Anorexia Nervosa, meets a boy with a Machiavellian personality disorder. At first, she thinks he's the perfect match for her; he's sweet and a little awkward, but after a while, everything good spoils. Sometimes I feel like my brain lives in this tiny apartment that he can't leave, but he keeps hoarding all this stuff - again, he can't leave - and it all has to fit perfectly -- The thing about this apartment is that there are no windows and only one door; however, every time you open the door, you realize that it is blocked off by concrete. I imagine this concrete with spray-painted flowers, but the flowers are dripping and fading. Sometimes, I am the flower. Sometimes, I am the wall. Sometimes the door. Sometimes, I am the room. Other times, I am an object in that room surrounded by all the clutter, trapped in these walls, and the flowers start to talk about how sad it is that they are no longer beautiful. The wall cries because he is too big. And the door cries because he has no use. The room never cries because the room has caused this whole storm of tears and anger; however, at night, when he has no one to talk to, he regrets and wishes he were more than just a prison. - Bonnie Meidall
