The story is told through the eyes of an unnamed narrator, who is simultaneously unreliable and extremely insightful, and does not seem to mind his situation, His odyssey takes him through America's seedy fringes, orbiting dark underbellies, and making questionable choices that put him in a few harrowing situations.
