Dream, The LONE guardian of the tree of feelings. His job is hard. He is very positive and that alone makes the villagers stay away from the tree, not wanting to upset the shining soul. But there is a legend that circles the tree as well, warning those against taking a fruit when the positive guardian is away. "Legend has it that in the branches of the tree, the side of darkness, there lies a monster. This monster isn't like monster kind. It is a beast. With the darkness of the void oozing from it's bones, and a piercing blue eye that skins your soul to the very core. It has 4 tentacles that can crush your bones to dust. The only one that can stand by the tree without dusting is the guardian himself, that is why we must stay away from the tree of feelings young child." But what will happen if Dream hears these legends? Well, after all... Childhood is foreign to me, yet the memory's haunting. Although I've grown up, those who hurt me remind me of who I used to be. In the end, I realize that I'm Still Just a Child.

Read the story of Tess-- a girl who wants nothing but peace and happiness. Her life is full of negativity and it's worse when she meets some certain people.

Mia, emotionally distant and indifferent, encounters a stranger in the rain. Despite her desire to remain unnoticed, she offers him a handkerchief, only to be met with his cold indifference. This interaction leaves her feeling frustrated and further cementing her belief that people are just distractions. Years later, in college, she again finds herself avoiding connections. However, when the same stranger, Asher, enters her classroom, his presence unnerves her, as his gaze seems to persistently latch onto her. Despite her resistance, she can't shake the feeling that he's trying to break through her emotional walls.

Dream is the guardian of positivity, and Nightmare is the guardian of negativity. But, there is something Nightmare doesn't know about. No one knows about it except for Dream. Every time the multiverse has more negativity than positivity Dream is hurt. And if there is no positivity Dream will die.

hey I'm just going to be posting random stuff from random facts to ransoms thoughts to random things that happened today. I'll try and update whenever I can but I make no promises.

I found a small black notebook with directions hidden inside. I followed them with an open mind. I didn't believe the notebook to be anything special until everything went very wrong. Note from the author: I created this short story for a fun competition on Vocal. I was thinking about making a part two, explaining where my character went wrong.
