Nejire is stressing about the upcoming mission to save the little girl known as Eri, and Tamaki is worried about her. While Mirio is away at his work studies, the two are left alone to talk. Will they be able to finally confide in eachother, or will they keep it all bottled up inside?

Some victories in hero history feel less like celebrations and more like scars. During the raid on the Shie Hassaikai, three heroes give everything to stop Kai Chisaki and save one terrified little girl. Shota Aizawa holds his quirk long enough to keep the monster contained. Mirio Togata refuses to back down even after losing everything. And Izuku Midoriya pushes his power beyond what his body can survive. The villain falls. The heroes don't get back up. Left behind in the aftermath is a child with a dangerous quirk and too many memories for someone her age. While hero society argues about what to do with her, two exhausted students quietly make a decision that will change all their lives. Nejire Hado refuses to let Eri face the world alone.
