When Ember Laresa commits suicide she gets to choose if she goes to Heaven or Hell. As a joke she chooses Hell. In Hell she meets the Lucifer and the first thing he says to her is "finally someone else! Finally a friend." After getting to know him you find he is not as bad as the stories say and you end up falling in Love.
