At first he found her illiteracy humorous, but when he realized the extensity and seriousness he decided to take things into his hands and to teach her how to read. Of course stubborn Nelle resisted at first, but in the end without even knowing or realizing it she warmed up to Win and found that he really was teaching her. Can one boy really trick her into learning to read? Can he be the one and only person able to take up the difficult task of getting through to stubborn Nelle?
