I couldn't wait for season 4, so I'm writing it myself.

Mutants weren't as known to the public in 2014 as they were in the '80s, but that doesn't mean they're extinct. Quite the opposite. Y/n was one. She was trained by one. Now, she doesn't seem like she did but she had mutations. A power to shapeshift into any form she wanted, but she mainly stuck to animals... People were harder to copy. And her mutation helped with her job. No, not the one with Nelson and Murdock. The one where she was a gun-for-hire at night for whoever had the most cash. But wait? She works with Nelson and Murdock, right? How did that happen? Wouldn't they know what she does at night? Not so much. You see, she and Foggy have been friends since 3rd grade. Nothing could separate them, except college. But even then she was guaranteed a job with him if he ever ran his own business. She may be just a secretary with Karen, but her bite and knowledge startled even the most hardheaded cases. And finally, one last question. In which Oliver is kind of an egotistical D until he's not, Foggy is a D as well (with a reason though), Diggle is being a father despite not having actual kids, Felicity meets someone who put their feet in their mouth almost as often as she does, Terri is everything but subtle about her crush and Vera learns Hawkeye is not the only archer in the world and that she may need to rethink her life choices. More or less in that order. It's definitely less funny and more angsty than it sounds. Set during Damned If I Don't between chapters 'The punch-line' and 'Strong enough to stand'.
