Nick Jonas is a high school senior who's almost ready to go to college. Demi Lovato is a high school freshman. He needs money to pay for college. His mom gets him a job with her good friend Dianna Lovato. His job is to take care of Demi and her brother Lucas Lovato, 9 years old. When he meets Demi he feels a special attraction towards her but he has to ignore it because of their age difference.

Evalyn wants nothing more than a simple, happy life. The only things in her way are her famous family and her abusive boyfriend. She feels stuck and there isn't anything she can do about it.

After Demi's world tour starts, there is a lot of tension in the house. Meadow broke her arm. Demi wasn't acting like herself. River has stopped calling Demi mom and is losing trust.
