Közben a lágyan kialakuló kapcsolata Hawks-al, egyre intenzívebbé válik, és bár kezdetben tagadják, fokozatosan ráébrednek, hogy lehet, hogy több is van köztük, mint egyszerű barátság. Moya szépsége és tehetsége miatt sok figyelmet kap, de ő maga inkább kerüli a reflektorfényt, míg nővére, Nemuri Kayama, a híres Midnight, szívesen él a figyelem középpontjában. Moya a HSCP (Hős Közbiztonsági Bizottság) figyelmét is felkelti, és Hawks potenciális utódjaként tekintenek rá. Moya és Hawks között fokozatosan egyre erősödő kapcsolat alakul ki, és az emberek pletykálni kezdenek arról, hogy talán több van köztük, mint barátság.
