Nani Hirunkit has never been anyone's first choice. The youngest child of a minor clan lord, born of a second wife whose memory has faded to little more than a scent, Nani has spent his life learning to be small, useful enough to keep, unremarkable enough to ignore, quiet enough that the space he takes up can be forgiven. When his older sisters marry wolf alphas and fox leaders with grand processions and golden letters, Nani is sent to the dragon clan on a borrowed horse, alone, to wed a man whose name is the only thing he knows about his future.
