After Dai's Father passes, he gains the trust of the inhabitants of Safety Harbor, but is put in a tough situation when Whitey and Sham pay a surprise visit. Nere is worried that James' secret has been exposed and learns how Gillian got involved with the project.

Group C Sector 45. The last group to be deployed, six months after Nere makes it to her father's colony. They have someone that the scientists on The Neptune Project need desperately to continue the survival of Safety Harbor. But with more and more challenges arising as they make their short (but so long) five hundred mile trip across the ocean, one question remains. Will they make it to Safety Harbor?
