After two years of hiding away, Elphaba, Nessarose and Fiyero believe it's time to go back to Oz. But is Oz ready for them.

After Nessarose miss pronounces a spell, Melena thropp is brought back to life. Albert attempts to rekindle his love with Melena who, is more focused on making lost time up to Nessa, causing Elphaba to question if she really has been the best at tending to her sister. Boc ends up with a job that begins to make Nessarose rethink her leadership abilities and Glinda tries to prove that she's more than just a pretty face.
