Srayelia te Tsika'u Ronal'ite has always belonged to the sea. Neteyam Sully was never meant for it. When the forest Na'vi arrive at the Metkayina reefs, Srayelia is ordered by her father to welcome and teach the Sully's the ways of the waters. What begins as obligation becomes connection--quiet, steady, and dangerous in its depth. The arriving of the Omatikaya people had piqued her interest after all she had only seen the Na'vi's of the reefs and the sky traders also known as the Tlalim. I do not own any of these characters except for Srayelia, these characters all belong to James Cameron.

A'tsira and Aonung were childhood friends who were almost inseparable. After an incident that almost drowned one of them, the village slowly began to keep them away from each other to prevent them from endangering each other again. Over the years they grew apart, the air between them now awkward but a few tense unspoken words there, floating between them. Once the sullys arrive, one of the brothers seem to catch her eye. She spends more time in getting to know these newcomers and Aonung can't help but feel both jealous and resentful. Why have they earned her friendship that should be his? Neteyam was supposed to die that night on the rocks. Yet he didn't. Saralyn, a young traveler saved him. She is an outcast, no clan and no belonging. The Sullys do not trust her, but when she is forced to stay with the Metkayina clan and the family, feelings change. Distrust becomes curiosity and eventually friendship. Even after the parents warnings the Sully kids don't stay away from her, forming a bond despite their differences. Neteyam is torn between loyalty towards his parents and their wishes and curiosity and gratitude towards the traveler. When he leans closer into their bond, he threatens to disappoint his parents and duty, but what if he just can't help himself? - all characters and the world belong to James Cameron, except for Saralyn and her family :)
